Thank you to Ms Heer who brought her big old four wheel drive to school.
We put a clean white sock over the exhaust tail pipe of her car.
Ms Heer then turned on her car engine and kept in running for 10 minutes
When the engine was turned off, we took off the sock and compared it with the clean sock.

WOW!!!! What we saw was a Yucky, smelly dirty sock. Lots of bad particles were omitted from the car exhaust which can affect the air we breath. This is just one car running for just 10 mins.
How could you and your family help keep our environment clean? What are the other ways you could come to school? Probably join in the walking school bus? Cycling?
