Room 3 is learning about Fractions, which is equal sharing, part of a whole.
We were excited to make our own fairy bread sandwich. Some of us found it very tricky to use a knife to spread the butter. Adding the sprinkles were cool.
As a family of two, we had to decide how we could equally share our yummy sandwich in half. To be fair, we decided, one cuts and the other person chooses the half he/she can eat.
Lots of explanation & justifying took place to make equal shares.
